Plastikoil binding
The newest method of binding for training guides, manuals, etc. Uses a contagious plastic spiral. We have 2 large high speed automated punch & auto binders as well as smaller machines.
PlastiCoil
Much like metal spiral binding but made with a more durable plastic coil.
This is suitable for books with up to 250 sheets and the coil is available in a number of standard colors.
Wiro binding
Wire binding for reports, etc. Gives a sophisticated look to your document.
Wire-O
A professional looking mechanical binding method that is available in 15 standard colors.
This method uses a double loop of coated metal. Like PlastiCoil, it is suitable for books with up to 250 sheets.
Square & round whole punching in 2:1 or 3:1 patents
Perfect (paperback) binding
Very popular and clean looking, this type of binding suits books from 70 pages or more. Three sides of the book are trimmed after binding to give a good finish.
This is the most common binding method for the self publisher. The pages are stacked and glued. They are then glued to the inside of the cover.
Saddle stitching
Here the collated book is folded through the centre and wire stitched through the fold. Suits books up to 72 pages. Very economical. We have both small and large scale machinery, online & offline for this.
Laminating & Cellosheening
Plastic coating for book covers, posters, maps, cards, etc. Full laminate covers both sides and seals the edges - used for menus, etc. Cellosheening
usually covers one side, is a thin gloss coating and really makes colours stand out. Protects against minor scuffing, dirt smudges, etc.
Perforating
Great for tear-out questionnaire pages in training guides, for coupons, raffle tickets, etc.
Creasing
We machine crease thick card to create a precise fold-line. Used on paper / card heavier than 200 gsm. Used for perfect bound book covers, also for folds
in menus, etc.
